Description :

Anthyodaya Anna Yojana(AAY) Ration cards are an official document issued by state governments in India to poorest of poor households that are eligible to purchase subsidized food grain from the Public Distribution System. It is one of the recognized address and identity proofs by both the state and the central government agencies.

AAY ration cards are issued to households that meet the eligibility criteria set by their state government. Each AAY household is entitled to 30 kilograms of food grain per member per month. AAY card is most important document in availing most of the free government services.

Eligibility:
1. The annual income should not be more than 15000
2. The applicant must be poorest of poor.
3. The applicant should not own vehicles
4. The applicant should not be a government employee
5. The applicant should not be a tax payer
6. Rural applicant should not own land

Documents Required:
1. Aadhaar Card of all family members
2. Aadhar registered mobile number of all family members.
3. Details of the PDS store from where you want to purchase the food grains.
4. Ward number of the residence.
5. Income/Caste certificates.
